In the heart of Obernai, not far from the market square, the six-buckets well stands.
Built in 1579 in the Renaissance style by a team of craftsmen from Strasbourg, it was originally painted.
Three columns with Corinthian capitals support an octagonal canopy decorated with sculptures inspired by the New Testament.
From 1285 to 1873, the Chapel of the Virgin adjoins the Place du Marché. Since its destruction, only the Gothic choir and the Belfry reman.
This has long served as a watchtower and still houses six bells dating from the 15th century.
At the top, at 60 meters, an arrow culminates this monument today classified as Historical Monuments.
Built from the end of the 12th century, the Haut-Koenigsbourg fortified castle and its impressive ramparts overlook the Alsatian plain.
The castle was completely renovated at the beginning of the 20th century, and many rooms have been refurnished as in the Middle Ages, thus offering visitors an immersion in the heart of the past.

The former royal and imperial bladed weapons factory in Kligenthal was active from 1730 to 1962.
